City of Lago Vista Expanding Green Center Hours

The City of Lago Vista is expanding our hours of operation for the Green Center.  Recently the City attempted to open the Green Center on Sunday instead of Saturday but have decided to return to the Saturday operations beginning in December. In an effort to increase the overall availability of the Green Center and to provide more efficient and effective operations, the new hours will be:

1st THURSDAY of every month:   7 AM – 4 PM 1st SATURDAY of every month:   10 AM – 4 PM

Please be aware that the City will not have available staff at the Green Center to help offload debris. The Green Center is the located at 21155 FM-1431 and is the City’s brush collection/mulching station. 

The City is also working to locate a new facility that will house our Green Center, a new recycling facility, and potentially a hazardous waste collection facility. Until then, please contact City Hall at 512-267-1155 if you have questions concerning any of these operations.
